This box meets all AKC suggestions for safe and successful whelping, in addition to helpful features not found on others. Our boxes are all wood and stainless steel.  This design has a removable front door hole and totally removable FREE HANGING SAFETY RAILS!  Thats the #1 factor when choosing a whelping box.  If the rails have little supports holding them up or they are permanently fixed to the box they are just as dangerous as not having them at all.  This design has an OPEN FLOOR.  It comes with a basic plastic liner to use as the bottom thats 100% waterproof.  It makes the box very easy to clean.  (If you want one with a rigid floor or one with a vinyl mat check our other listings or contact us.) The inner walls of the box are finished WITHOUT chemicals much like your kitchen chopping block.
